Best Restaurants for Breakfast and Brunch in Honolulu
My number one tip for visiting Oahu is to get out of Honolulu and Waikiki and explore beyond the city! This includes foodie adventures, as well!
There are countless authentic and tasty breakfast restaurants to enjoy when vacationing on the island. Avoid the chains near Waikiki and seek out the local spots for “ono grinds”! (That means delicious food!)

Tried Liliha today. The food wasn’t special. YogurStory and Hula Grill have way better Loco Moco’s.
The little butter roll was great, but the jelly was flavorless.
I liked their fried rice, but all else was so-so.
I agree, the jelly is not my favorite. Liliha is definitely more of a gem with their baked goods- the poi mochi donut is devine!
